This website is provided by the Family Support Services ⁱ(FSS) Council of Taconic DDSO. Taconic DDSO is the regional office of the New York State Office of Mental Retardationⁱ and Developmental Disabilitiesⁱ (OMRDD).   The region covered by Taconic DDSO includes the following five counties: Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, Putnam, and Ulster.

Taconic DDSO has satellite offices that serve each county.  The FSS Council is made up parents of children, or siblings, who are developmentally disabled (according to the OMRDD definition of developmental disability).  The parent members are volunteers.

The purpose of this website is to help parents or caregivers identify services that will help them care for their developmentally disabled child.  The website will explain what the various services are, and which agencies provide those services in each county.
